Requirements

  • A recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong foundation in graphic design
  • A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and a strong understanding of design principles
  • Proactive and eager to learn, with a passion for staying up to date on design trends and industry developments
  • A creative problem-solver with the ability to think critically and offer innovative design solutions
  • Proficient in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent tools
  • You have a portfolio of work samples that demonstrates conceptual thinking, and art direction with a digital output.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with the Head of Design and other team members
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Design to develop design concepts that align with Encode Club's brand identity and vision
  • Maintain an organised and efficient workflow, managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
  • Assist in refining and iterating on design projects based on feedback
  • Create visually engaging materials and assets for our educational programmes, marketing campaigns, and other initiatives
  • Run with the development of visual concepts and ensuring that they align with our objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Stay up to date with the latest design trends and best practices, incorporating fresh ideas and innovation into your work
