Requirements

  • A real flair when it comes to editing – comedy timing and bringing edits to life with memes, graphics, overlays and effects.
  • Intermediate/Expert knowledge and understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro is a must. Experience with After Effects and Photoshop would be an advantage.
  • A good knowledge of video production techniques and workflows.
  • Knowledge of filming and camera operating techniques. Experience with Sony A7s/FX6s would be advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of the social media landscape, the need to adapt content per platform and the ability to plan shoots to cater for them.
  • A can-do attitude, willing to go the extra mile and to always be professional and courteous towards your colleagues and external contractors.
  • A deep knowledge of pop culture and internet trends is an absolute must.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for editing engaging video content that our audiences will want to share. Your ideas will help bring Capital Buzz, and its digital show Scroll Deep, alive online and on social media.
  • You will also need to assist in the capture of video content, whether that be occasional camera operation, vision mixing or online content recording (Zoom etc).
  • Contribute to idea sessions and influence how we can improve our content, edits and how we can make them memorable and shareable.
