Responsibilities

  • Scope, design and implement consenting strategies to deliver consents and permits applicable across the low carbon projects' portfolio comprising new build and retrofit low carbon thermal power generation infrastructure.
  • Identify, instruct and manage external consents resources, working closely and co-ordinating with internal project, land, legal, engineering and procurement teams.
  • Identify and manage consenting and permitting risks including optioneering and mitigation strategies and timeous escalation.
  • Deliver necessary consents, permits and licences, including Town and Country Planning, Development Consent Order, Safety, Environmental, and Marine, to support recommendations up to Final Investment Decision (FID) and ultimate project delivery including discharge of planning condition and/or DCO requirement to support project implementation.
