Responsibilities

  • Specify and implement grid/transmission system modelling as well as SVC and STATCOM system modelling in most common simulation environment (PSCAD, PSSE).
  • Perform the various power system studies like load flow, short circuit, transient stability and switching transients, insulation coordination, simulation of temporary and transient overvoltage stresses on equipment and surge arrester energy ratings.
  • Developing scripts to automate execution and analysis of simulations
  • Co-operation and working closely with the ITO (sales) team to understand and being able to find the most feasible solution that customers are seeking for.
  • Support technical tendering, review and approve technical specifications, plans and estimations.
  • Support in research and development tasks in the field of FACTS NPI. Organize and participate in innovation workshops, contribute in patent applications
