Responsibilities

  • Analyze training needs and determine the most appropriate training approach by applying trends and concepts from adult learning theory and instructional design principles
  • Interview and collaborate with subject-matter experts, guiding them through the course development process to ensure content accuracy and relevance
  • Author design documents to collect necessary data, raw content, and custom information to define desired learning outcomes
  • Design, develop, and revise custom content, authoring new content as needed
  • Write engaging, accurate and effective course content, including expository text, scripts for videos, talking points for executives, learning activities, job aids and assessment questions
  • Analyze course activity and feedback to prioritize tasks for ongoing refinement and enhancement
  • Research strategies and industry best practices for creating engaging and interactive content for learners
  • Communicate and collaborate with graphic designers and other partners to create unique, custom training materials
