Responsibilities

  • The Public Services Management & Organisation (PSMO) department is seeking to recruit an outstanding early career scholar to join us as Lecturer in Management & Organisation.
  • You will be expected to play a role in the standing and development of PSMO in this regard.
  • We also expect commitment to excellence in teaching, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • The successful candidate will complement our research interests and build capacity on School teaching programmes.
  • In particular, the successful candidate will be able to teach in at least one of the following areas: ‘research methods (quantitative and/or qualitative),’ ‘technology & innovation,’ ‘technology policy & regulation,’ ‘AI & organisations,’ ‘digital government’ or ‘public management/administration.’
  • The post is open to an outstanding social science scholar, whether they are currently based in a business school or another relevant department.
  • This is a full time post (35 hours per week) and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
  • Our core hours are 09:00 until 17:00, however we are open to flexibility within this, which can be discussed at the offer stage if you are successful.
