Requirements

  • 2+ years of post qualification experience.
  • 2.1 or above degree classification in English law, or similar Solicitor/Barrister qualified in England and Wales, or similar qualification in an analogous jurisdiction.

  • Legal training and post qualification experience with a leading law firm will be hugely advantageous.
  • Experience as part of an in-house legal department of an organisation preferable.

Responsibilities

  • The role will be an excellent business partner to the business, assisting business colleagues in the drafting, negotiation, review and approval of contracts for BSI's EMEA businesses, including advising on tender documentation, supplier contracts, amendments to contracts and partner agreements.
  • In addition, you will manage commercial projects, including creating project plans, liaising with business colleagues, negotiating with external partners and taking the lead in concluding a wide range of contracts.
