What are the primary responsibilities of a Line Mechanic?
The primary responsibilities include carrying out duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor, completing scheduled work and Preventive Maintenance (PM), troubleshooting and repairing equipment problems, and maintaining shop cleanliness.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Candidates must be on the Maintenance Helper pool and should be mechanically inclined. Training will be provided on the job.
Are there any safety requirements associated with this position?
Yes, safety requirements include attending Safety Talks, following Lockout / Tag-Out procedures, wearing appropriate PPE, and promoting a safe working environment.
What kind of training will be provided?
The Maintenance Supervisor will provide safety, GMP, HACCP, environmental, equipment, software, and any other required training as needed.
How flexible is the work schedule?
The Line Mechanic must be able and willing to work 5 days a week on a set schedule, assist with covering shifts for vacation breaks, and be available on days off during Sanitation days and Shutdowns.

You will need to use a computerized maintenance management system for processing work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, as well as SAP for work orders and notifications.
