Responsibilities

  • Carry out duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Complete scheduled work and Preventive Maintenance (PM) work
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment problems
  • Use the computerized maintenance management system for processing work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Technically Complete (TECO) work orders and enter confirmation comments in SAP.
  • Identify equipment malfunctions and create Notifications in SAP to have issues addressed.
  • Create Emergency or Reactive work orders to complete unplanned jobs.
  • Maintain shop and follow good housekeeping practices (5S)
  • Complete Hot Works Permits, Job Safety Plans and other
  • Follow McCain maintenance, HACCP and Environmental programs such as “Temporary Repairs”, “Sanitation after Maintenance”, Waste Management and Recycling (Waste Oil Disposal), etc.
  • Must be able and willing to work 5 days a week on a set schedule and to additionally help break vacations for people on shift on a 4-day rotation (2 days – 2 nights, 4 days off). Must be flexible with their schedule.
