Responsibilities

  • Role Responsibilities
  • Transport planning - ensuring full utilisation of load capacity to maximise space and reduce logistical costs
  • Receive and process orders within 48hrs of receipt
  • Respond to customer queries regarding pricing, delivery information, order confirmations & schedules etc
  • Provide assistance with sales reporting and production scheduling
  • Co-ordinate Order documentation for export and import shipments
  • Communicating with shippers, customers, border control, customers, suppliers, Internal departments & HMRC
  • Generate pick tickets to the warehouse within required timescales
  • Process and supply dispatch documentation within the relevant timescales
  • Maintain reports and clearance document
  • Resolve or escalate any issues to ensure the expected delivery date is met
  • Review invoices to ensure accuracy
  • Health and Safety awareness following all legal and company procedures
