Responsibilities

  • You'll support the deployment of our logistics strategy through insightful analytics and continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will build and maintain strong relationships with Logistics Service Providers, overseeing transport, warehousing, and customs operations to ensure optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
  • Your role will include both strategic and tactical responsibilities (but not limited to)
  • Strategic:
  • Working closely with internal (including Indirect procurement) and external functions support the execution of logistics strategy
  • Using data analytics and digital tools to track performance, provide insights into supply chain performance (including key performance indicators; cost, volumes, savings, and service), report on trends and make recommendation for change.
  • Support the overall supply chain functions through logistics Continuous Improvement using metrics and data lead decisions to maintain optimised cost and service levels, with a strong data driven focus to digitalize and automate processes.
  • Working with other PSC (e.g. EBMS) to standardise, harmonise and optimise processes, systems, data, visibility, and reporting.
  • Tactical:
  • Review of order and shipment plan to coordinate and manage logistics arrangement for outbound orders, overseeing Control Tower, transport, customs and warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with both internal and external partners on regulatory, legal, security, customs, trade compliance, DG handling rules.
  • Point of escalation for logistics issues and coordination of corrective actions and preventative actions through capturing, trending, and route cause analysis.
  • Actively take part in performance management and development of LSPs through annual/quarterly/monthly businesses reviews.
  • Logistics cost control –authorisation point for spot quotes (within agreed limits), review & code invoices and carry out spot checks to ensure cost management, working with external parties for spot quote and invoice audit.
