Responsibilities

  • Be the eyes, ears, and voice of the consumer, leveraging your understanding of regional insights, demographics, and psychographics to influence marketing initiatives & local ATL campaign spend
  • Build & lead a local ‘360’ marketing plan that increases brand awareness & product consumption through occasions (work, study, fitness, gaming) and choice
  • Leverage national programming to drive sales in regional retail accounts
  • Create custom retail programming in collaboration with Key Accounts and Product Marketing teams when necessary
  • Oversee regional sampling & collegiate marketing programs that engage current and next generation consumers
  • Collaborate with regional Sports, Culture, and Communications teams to optimize outcome of brand initiatives
  • Ensure all local brand/beverage efforts are executed in line with national/global strategy and guidelines
  • Develop appropriate and measurable marketing objectives for the region
  • Develop & execute event barters and other custom programs in partnership with Sales teams
  • Leverage insights to influence & support the dollar allocation and strategic focus of POS plans
  • Lead all regional product launches, building & developing cross-functional plans within the region
  • Closely manage the budgets for Consumer Collecting (sampling/collegiate), Consumer Occasions, & Product Marketing activations within the region
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Consumer Collecting program, team dynamics, and sampling goals
  • Oversee regional execution of Student Marketeer program, ensuring we meet can goals, effectively use hours, and deliver excellent campus plans
  • Hire & onboard and/or get to know your team of specialists
  • Provide consistent & timely coaching, build targets & development plans, and establish team routines & ways of working
  • Interview candidates for part-time workforce and provide feedback to your specialists, equipping them with information to make sound hiring decisions
  • Live the Brand Marketing standards (sense of urgency, innovation, calculated risk-taking, and integrity) and lead by example
