  • Strong understanding of inventory control best practices, compliance regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proficient in the use of relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting, including Microsoft Excel.
  • SAP background.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to operate effectively and efficiently on an independent level.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Compliance Management:
  • Define, develop, implement, and maintain policy and process documentation (SOPs) to ensure consistent and cost-effective practices and minimize risk across the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to achieve and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in accordance with business standards.
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations and changes to ensure the company's continued compliance.
  • Understand and adhere to compliance guidelines set by retailers and wholesalers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance compliance and minimize chargebacks.
  • Inventory Control:
  • Design and implement a comprehensive third-party inventory control strategy to optimise inventory levels, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Full ownership of the annual physical inventory process.
  • Conduct cycle counting activities as needed.
  • Handle customers shortages and overages claims.
  • Ensure strict compliance with financial guidelines established by auditors.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to streamline inventory management.
  • Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to forecast inventory needs and optimise stocking levels.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Other Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with various departments, including Logistics, Transportation, Procurement, And Operations, to align compliance and inventory control efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with customers and 3PL partners to ensure compliance with their specific requirements and maintain strong relationships.
  • Generate regular reports and analyses related to compliance metrics, inventory performance, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance compliance and inventory management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the compliance and inventory control functions.
  • Lead initiatives to implement best practices, increase efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
  • SAP key user for the scope and the INT team.
