Requirements

  • 5+ years of programmatic experience working with DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, or other related technology
  • Deep expertise and understanding of openRTB specs, including openRTB version 2.6
  • In-depth understanding of demand/supply side ad technology stack including APIs and adserving
  • Experience with ads.txt, app-ads.txt, sellers.json, and supply chain transparency protocols
  • Experience with cookie and cookieless setup and improving cookie match rates
  • Experience and understanding of difference placements and adformats, creative blocking and malware solutions, pretargeting settings.
  • Experience with API integration, managing integration schedules, discrepancy testing
  • Experience and knowledge of XML and Json.
  • Experience with pulling sample bid requests and responses and reviewing for compatability with OpenRTB specifications
  • Ability to continually make progress on long-term projects while also managing the day-to-day needs of a dynamic, rapidly growing business
  • Experience collaborating across internal and partner Supply, Product, Engineering and Analytics teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform in a fluid, fast-paced work environment, comfort with complex concepts

Responsibilities

  • Oversee new SSP integrations and liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure the timely completion of a direct openRTB connection between the two platforms
  • Oversee SSP integration updates, such as the update to openRTB version 2.6, support for cookieless identity solutions, endpoint swaps, and cookie match rate improvements
  • Maintain health of existing direct SSP integrations and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise, including timeouts, no-bids, match rates, and discrepancies
  • Pull bid request and bid response samples via API call and examine samples to identify any incompatibilities with openRTB specs and/or Zeta DSP’s integration adapter
  • Initiate kick-off calls, collect integration specs, and create internal JIRA tickets as a part of the new SSP integration process
  • Provide SSP/exchange partner support related to the integration, including new channel or industry standard evaluation, reporting, adapter questions, etc.
  • Lead successful testing of new media formats and programmatic guaranteed (PG) deals
  • Create and maintain ad placements in the DSP
  • Work with the Analytics team to review and update the supply Tableau dashboard, making sure the data is accurate and up to date
  • Collaborate closely across all teams internally – Engineering, Product, Analytics, Account Management, Client Services, etc.
  • Understand and communicate Zeta’s value proposition and technology
