Responsibilities

  • Maintain expertise in local access legislation and payer landscape
  • Maintains updated identification, mapping and segmentation of key stakeholders
  • Ensures the inclusion of payer customer insights in strategic planning processes
  • Development (and execution, as applicable) of portfolio Market Access plans for key products and therapeutic areas, that balance individual brand considerations with longer term portfolio and payer-relationship priorities
  • Supports payer and patient research activities to understand stakeholder requirements, for selected products/therapies, and health technology/assessment hurdles in local markets
  • Supports development of robust, credible value arguments and propositions for Pfizer products
  • Leads external interaction with payer stakeholders, including stakeholder strategy, relationship management and development of innovative partnerships
  • Maintains and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of market access strategies, activities and programs
  • Establishes strong working relationships across functions, contributing ideas, strategies, team/matrix leadership in an innovative, thought provoking and collegial manner
  • Leads development of strategic pricing recommendations and contracting strategy across Pfizer’s portfolio, advising Pfizer businesses on pricing strategies that support commercial objectives and operating plans.
