Responsibilities

  • As market data analyst, you will enable the company to consume reliable Market Data services. You will be responsible to ensure quality standards for key market data processes such as curve governance, validation, and reference and master data consolidation. A Market Data Analyst manages timelines for new data requirements and acts as the single point of contact to ensure that all market data deliverables are met, securing adequacy of the business-as-usual data consumption for the end consumers.
  • Develop and maintain Data Quality Controls. Ensuring reliability of key controls implemented to guarantee data integrity for consumers.
  • Collaborates with Risk to streamline Validation processes.
  • Provide Operational support to business on market data requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of referencial data. Contributing to the creation and management of terminology, valid data and values.
  • Accountable end to end for Data Management deliverables as per established timelines; reviewing the output to ensure the highest delivery quality, while adjusting the workload.
  • Supports the onboarding of new data sources and processors and applies corrective interventions where necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and monitoring. Collaborating with Data Ops teams to identify through analysis of the incident’s tracker, items that consume most of the capacity and evaluate its feasibility to provide productivity by automation.
  • Steward the market data policies, e.g. curve’s governance workflow.
  • Identify, improve and develop quality monitoring of data services/products and its operationalisation with Data Ops teams. Feedback constructively on relevant issues and initiate process review as appropriate.
  • Ensures service and quality meet agreed upon business and regulatory specifications.
