Responsibilities

  • Market Research: Utilize research tools to gather data about consumers, competitors, product, and pricing. Research tools/methods include Zonda, MLS, MarketSight. Terravault, GoogleEarth, GIS, Census data, and 1st person field research.
  • Market Analysis: Convert data and findings into understandable and actionable tables, graphs, and written reports. Regularly prepare and present reports on resale and new home activity, competitive market analyses, sales and closing trends, and demographics.
  • Competitive Market Analysis: Coordinate with sales team to collect data and distribute analysis of new home competitors. Monitors and updates competitive database. Prepares Competitive Market Analysis (CMA) for active communities and new community openings.
  • Transactional Support: As needed, supports the Sales, Marketing and Land teams with data and analysis that support their efforts. This requires the thorough analysis of demographic, competitor, resale, product, and other data to ensure that communities are positioned competitively. Works with Corporate Market Research to submit quarterly MLS data pulls.
