Responsibilities

  • Brand and Design:
  • Follow and champion the branding guidelines across Food at Brookes at Oxford Brookes University campuses. Ensure the wider Gather & Gather team are trained and competent to utilise and apply the branding guidelines as and when required.
  • Design and manage all marketing materials including digital menus, social media content, print menus, posters and signage.
  • Manage the design workflow process from submission to execution from various stakeholders.
  • Oversee and manage the relationship with Brookes Print Room, ensuring high quality output and a strong working relationship.
  • Stakeholder Relationships:
  • Manage and drive the internal communications for three separate groups of stakeholders including the client, Brookes Union and Gather & Gather staff
  • Carefully consider specific client feedback and suggestions, weighting them against commercial outcomes and opportunities in a supportive and authentic manner.
  • Marketing Promotions and Storytelling:
  • Carefully consider marketing promotions and activity carried out through the academic year, providing a comprehensive plan of exciting and engaging activity.
  • Support and continue the development of app engagement, including loyalty initiatives, promotional offers and campus engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team, sustainability, operations and front-line teams to create engaging storytelling around food offerings and sustainability initiatives.
  • Oversee social media management, content creation, and customer engagement to build a vibrant online presence.
  • Event Management:
  • Support the execution of key events including orientation weeks, open days, seasonal activities and hospitality events from design to delivery.
  • Research and Reporting:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences and areas for growth.
  • Manage and oversee survey feedback, including the design of appropriate benchmarking, questions, flow of feedback, NPS scoring and mystery visits. Ensure the Senior Leadership Team within Gather & Gather are briefed monthly on updates or feedback that can help their work thrive.
  • Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
