Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing team in the implementation of the national marketing plan and retail calendar
  • Own the team's marketing information systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on centres and their respective systems
  • Support Marketing Executives and the Brand and Campaigns Marketing Manager with the implementation of marketing campaigns, including key seasonal campaigns, key trading dates, local centre initiatives, and centre investments, e.g. new centre openings and refurbs
  • Brief designers to create marketing assets for a range of audiences and channels for campaigns and centre investments across product categories, e.g. Bowling, mini golf, Food & Drink and Amusements
  • Campaigns will include planning, asset briefing, and copywriting across paid media channels, e.g., social media, out-of-home (OOH), radio and press, POS and merchandising, and content creation via external graphic designers, agencies, influencers
  • Support events, e.g. for launching new centres
  • Report on marketing activities to monitor and measure their effectiveness
  • Support bowling and mini-golf centres and regional teams with tactical marketing initiatives for attraction, engagement, and retention of customers, administering requests from centres using marketing support systems
  • Monitor and keep key systems updated, including the online print and stock management 'toolkit' to meet the needs of the centre team; update the centre's digital screen content; update the image and asset management library
  • Support the relationship with the print and print management supplier
  • Support content creation and reporting for social media channels, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube
  • Support with competitor research and analysis
  • Support the relationship with the marketing teams of our landlords, e.g., communicating key campaigns, maximising the opportunity of their marketing channels, and making sure our brands are accurately represented in their communications
  • Identify and champion opportunities to enhance the customer experience
  • Own the maintenance of the marketing pages of the HBG intranet
  • Accurately log and code marketing invoices
  • Proofread marketing copy, accurately checking pricing and key customer facing information
  • Support the competition process
  • Support with monitoring and the timely replenishment of stock in the centres
  • Internal communication of marketing initiatives
  • Arrange meetings, focus groups, and workshops
