Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing or a relevant field is required.
  • Experience working in a healthcare and/or technology industry preferred.
  • Experience with event software and online registration tools such as, Cvent preferred.
  • Experience with design software and graphics editing software, such as InDesign and Photoshop preferred.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects independently.
  • Solid working knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage shifting priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • See the "big picture" and develop the strategy to meet objectives in all stages of event planning - project workflow, creative, marketing, production, A/V, vendor management, venue management, programming, etc.
  • Manage planning and execution of project elements within time frame and budget.
  • Manage communication/actions around registration, travel, and programming communication throughout event.
  • Develop reporting tools utilizing registration software to gather information on attendee attributes and monitor registrations to aid in developing a strategy for event planning and post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate and participate in venue walk-throughs
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to create an event strategy that meets company goals
  • Proactive approach to handling issues and troubleshooting any emerging issues during the event.
  • Use analytical skills to do post event analysis to measure results of event ROI and effectiveness
  • Research skills to identify event opportunities, understand the market, and generate interest.
  • Develop and execute pre, on-site and post social media engagement strategy with Marketing team.
  • Work with our external contractor on creating and executing paid campaigns and tracking success.
  • Contribute to content on all of our social media channels (AvaSure, Facebook, LinkedIn, & YouTube)
  • Create compelling copywriting and edit content for various digital marketing efforts.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve website traffic and search engine rankings.
  • Collaborate with various teams within the organization to meet marketing objectives and ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Stay updated with the latest market research, trends, and tools in digital marketing and make proactive recommendations for improvement.
