Responsibilities

  • Ensure technical compliance for successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical support during the bid-stage including preparing design information for costing and risk/opportunity review.
  • Draft consultant appointment documents in line with BSRIA BG6
  • Oversee external design partners to produce the best value, technically robust and specification compliant MEP design.
  • Ensure design compliance with CDM 2015 Regulations
  • Assist with production of design programmes
  • Organise and lead in-house and external design workshops
  • Collaborate with other design team members to ensure a cohesive design delivery.
  • Review MEP consultant’s design information, including Raising RFI’s and TQ’s, and identifying risk and opportunity
  • Engage with the CAD/BIM team for preparation of Stage 5 Construction drawings
  • Assist with developing sub-contractor CDP packages.
  • Provide technical assistance during the procurement stage
  • Conduct technical vetting of the project teams Technical Submissions
  • Assist operations teams with technical issues during construction and post-handover
