  • As part of our continued support to our client, a major OEM in the defence sector, we are currently looking for a number of Mechanical Design Engineers.
  • The work can be carried out on a hybrid basis between the client’s facility in Stevenage and working remotely – 3 days per week on site.
  • Initially we are looking for two engineers to start in January 2025, with additional requirements as the projects develop.
  • Ideally, we are looking for suitably qualified engineers to join us on a permanent basis but will consider candidates on a contract basis.
  • The rate/salary will be dependent on the level of experience, seniority, etc.
  • If working on a contract basis, the work has been deemed as outside IR35, subject to the contractor assessment.
  • As this is a defence project, candidates will have or will be eligible for UK security clearance.
  • Candidates will have extensive experience in the use of CREO as a design tool.
