Responsibilities

  • - Type correspondence reports and letters. Proofread to verify accuracy.
  • - Maintain appropriate medical and dental supplies as well as office supplies
  • - Log and distribute incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail, answer telephone and convey messages.
  • - Schedule appointments for the Physician, Dentist, Mental Health Specialist.
  • - Maintain log for medical restrictions.
  • - Maintain patient records and files; observe applicable policies HIPAA laws.
  • - Check medical equipment and purchasing as per requirements.
  • - Respond to queries of providers for inmate patient needs.
  • - Maintain accountability of inmates and property while in medical unit, while adhering to safety practices.
