Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his or her age specific needs, and provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures
  • Provides health care services applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment
  • Performs computed tomography and related procedures sectional anatomic images for interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner
  • Exercising professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics
  • Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential to successful completion of the procedure
  • Provides services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
