Requirements

  • Good communication skills, written and oral.
  • A minimum of 5-years experience with ServiceNow CMDB.
  • 5 years experience importing data to ServiceNow using data loads, transforms, and transform scripts.
  • Experience in facilitating successful Change Management processes.
  • Strong technical skills and analytic ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to act independently when making technical and business judgements.
  • Strong familiarity with ITILv4 standards and best practices and ability to become ITIL4 certified.
  • DoDI 8570 IAT or IAM Level 3 certifications (CISM, CISSP, etc.) preferred or a at a minimum IAT Level 3 (Security+) required.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certificate.
  • Bachelor of Science(BS)/Master of Science (MS) in Cyber Security or related field.
  • Must possess Department of Defense (DOD) Secret OR Top Secret (TS) level clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior ServiceNow CMDB Architect/Developer
  • Configure CMDB to accurately represent Configuration Items (CIs) and their relationships
  • Liaise with US Government Application Owners, Data Owners, and their Developers to understand their CMDB data requirements, map their CIs and represent and onboard them in the CMDB
  • Assist in managing the Change to CIs within the CMDB via the organization’s Change and Configuration Management process
  • Work with other ServiceNow experts to ensure CMDB effective integration with other ServiceNow modules
  • Implement CMDB data governance policies and regularly analyze and assess the CMDB to identify and correct discrepancies and conflicts in the CMDB
  • Ensure approved CI changes are updated in the CMDB in a timely and quality manner
  • Identify, define, and manage roles and responsibilities of product owners, developers, and others in the CMDB process, ensuring clear accountability and compliance with policy
  • Ensure CMDB processes implement required DoD Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) guidance, FISCAM and FISMA compliance requirements
  • Prepare reports and data on CMDB onboarding statistics and build reports as necessary to inform management and clients of progress toward FIAR compliance
  • Monitor the CMDB processes and advise on CMDB process improvements and ensure seamless CMDB process integration across the portfolio
  • Responsible to Program Management for other duties as assigned
