Requirements

  • Experience of design of aero/marine-engine systems and all associated components (e.g. compressor, turbine, combustor, bearings, seals, casings, fitting parts etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Non-conformance Design Engineer within the Capgemini Engineering Design Engineering department
  • Assessment of non-conformance via a Concession/Deviation Permit/Drawing Alteration Request (DAR)
  • Issuing of a report of the Concession/Deviation Permit/DAR submission to support the disposition
  • Writing of Technical Assessment Reports TARs
  • Assessing engineering drawings
  • Performing tolerancing calculations and bolt checks etc.
  • Liaising with non-conformance specialists
  • Following procedures and specifications
  • Applying Design for Manufacture (DfM) best practices
