Responsibilities

  • To work in gynaecology outpatient, supporting the delivery of a patient focused gynaecology service, providing confidential advice, assess patients' needs and support them in potentially difficult and psychological sensitive circumstances.
  • The role of a patient advocate to support informed choices and empowering women to select treatment options is paramount whilst ensuring that colleagues respect the vulnerabilities of this client group.
  • You will participate in the development of the service by exploring and developing effective care pathways, with evidence-based guidelines and procedures to standardise care delivery.
  • You will act as a role model to deliver a high standard of care whilst supporting learners within the environment to develop their knowledge and skills.
