Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will be responsible for ongoing patient assessment and enter thorough and accurate documentation in EMR. Ensure appropriate charges are captured by following guidelines for appropriate administration of all treatments. Educate patients and, when appropriate, family about medications, side effects, and planned treatment course. Prioritize incoming calls and messages from patients, family members, hospitals, nursing facilities, pharmacies, and physician offices from emergent to non-urgent and respond accordingly in an appropriate time frame. Assist with inventory and re-stocking medical supplies when called upon. Recommend purchase of new items as needed and place stock in storage areas in a timely manner.
