Responsibilities

  • - Responsible for supporting the operation of the ORM framework, including:
  • - Oversight, check / challenge of Incidents and Near Miss recording with root cause analysis and lessons learned;
  • - Annual challenge / review of suite of risk policies;
  • - RCSA facilitation and challenge.
  • - Operational Risk Assessment facilitation to maintain the Operational Risk register;
  • - Driving appropriate usage of Risk Administration System.
  • - Advanced user of the Risk Administration System.
  • - Working closely with Line 1 Risk & Governance representatives across the business; and
  • - Support and delivery of training presentations on risk management related topics.
  • - Assist in the production, development, and enhancement of Risk Reporting for use within the necessary internal risk management committees.
  • - Awareness and focus on business priorities and key change programmes, providing an appropriate level of risk support and challenge.
  • - Support 2nd line of defence team members and interact cooperatively and productively with 1st line of defence to drive positive risk outcomes through the influence of key stakeholders, gaining executive buy-in; and
  • - Promote and communicate good risk management practices internally and represent the implementation and embedding of these practices externally to the Phoenix Group and the regulatory bodies (CBI).
