Responsibilities

  • Support the COO in overseeing all aspects of the company’s critical outsourcing arrangements including the analysis of management information and reporting, key performance indicators and action plans
  • Active participation in the AXA XL divisional and Carrier forums relevant to XLCSSE. Deputising for the COO as required. Assist in monitoring the key strategic initiatives and projects in the division and wider group
  • Coordination of intragroup matters which impact XLCSSE from an operational perspective including responsibility for ownership of recording, tracking, and monitoring material XLCSSE intragroup agreements
  • Driving the enhancement of the company’s reporting process through development of reports, presentations and functional dashboards for Senior Management, Executive Committee (ExCom) and Board
  • Assist in designing and maintaining effective tools, dashboards and operational processes in collaboration with all the relevant functions
  • Collect and consolidate information for internal reporting and regulatory requirements for the COO scope, coordinating with internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain overall strategic agenda for the COO office (executive committee and management meetings). Act as Secretary (manage agenda, collate and distribute meeting packs, minute taking and action follow-up) for the ExCom. Responsibility annually for the ExCom’s Terms of Reference update and Self-Assessment process.
  • Support the COO and Service Delivery Lead in the review and analysis of 2nd and 3rd lines of defense (Risk and Internal Audit) reporting to inform and validate the KPI reporting framework
  • Working with the management team to ensure the policies applicable to their area are updated and approved in accordance with applicable rules and AXA standards on an annual basis.
  • Coordination of the process to develop the annual business plan that support XLCSSE’s business strategy.
  • Support the COO in ensuring all stakeholders are fully informed in a timely and candid manner of the activities of XLCSSE regarding the achievement of its established goals and of all material deviations from the goals or objectives and policies established by the Board.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior management of XLCSSE’s key intragroup clients (the Carriers) and other key internal and external stakeholders
