The Maintenance Mechanic position starts at 6 AM for the 1st shift, the Maintenance Mechanic II starts at 10 PM for the 3rd shift, and the Electrical Instrument Technician also starts at 6 AM for the 1st shift.
What is the pay range for Maintenance positions?
The pay range for the Maintenance positions is $25 to $37 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
What are the essential duties and responsibilities for Maintenance roles?
Essential duties include troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on equipment and machines, minimizing production downtime, conducting preventative maintenance inspections, troubleshooting and maintaining electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, using various tools for assignments, setup and changeover of packaging equipment, and performing non-certified welding and machining operations as needed.
What qualifications do I need to apply for a Maintenance position?
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, three to five years of related experience, and possess a well-rounded knowledge of practices, tools, equipment, and materials used in the skill trade area. Basic math and reasoning skills are also required.
Is previous experience in maintenance required?
Yes, it is preferred that candidates have three to five years of related experience and/or training.
