Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting new and existing Oracle database systems and will help guide best practices in database administration and introduce innovation with automation
  • Upgrades of Oracle database migrations and updates and application of database patches
  • Backup and restores, export and import of data to and from Oracle run time configuration of Oracle
  • Monitoring at server, database, collection level, and using various monitoring tools related to Oracle
  • Maintains standards and design of physical data storage, maintenance, access and security
  • Troubleshoots alerts (alert log, jobs, disk group, etc.) and performance issues
