Responsibilities

  • The team deals with easements, leases and transfers in relation to equipment and rights for gas and electricity.
  • This involves working with the client's surveyors to complete a high volume of transactions, managed through our case management system, Liberate.
  • This entails negotiation of documentation, detailed review of title and replies to enquiries and reporting to the client using their preferred methods throughout the transaction.
  • The team also deals with telecommunications matters so the role will involve handling the negotiation of Telecommunications Code Agreements, telecoms leases and freehold acquisitions of land.
  • Again, this involves working with the client's asset managers and estates suppliers to complete a high volume of transactions in very tight timescales, managed through our case management system, Liberate.
  • Again, negotiation of documentation is necessary together with a detailed review of title and replies to enquiries and reporting to the client using their preferred methods throughout the transaction.
  • You will be working as part of a busy team, supporting and working closely with a partner and other senior team members.
  • You will be managing your own files and you will have direct contact with clients and agents.
  • You will also liaise with our other real estate teams to help co-ordinate a broad service to our clients.
  • In addition to working with utilities clients you may also become involved with some of our investment clients in delivering specific Networks advice.
