The main goal of the Liverpool Community Physiotherapy service is to promote independence and improve the quality of life for individuals with physical problems caused by accidents, ageing, disease, or disability.
What types of conditions will I be working with as a Physiotherapist?
As a Physiotherapist, you will work with a variety of conditions, including respiratory conditions, orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions, mobility issues, neurological conditions, and patients receiving palliative care.
Is there a requirement for previous therapy experience?
Yes, the role requires candidates to have therapy experience and skills.
Will I be working alone or as part of a team?
You will be working as part of a very supportive team that includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and assistant practitioners.

Managing a caseload involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions for patients, taking into account their co-morbidities and using evidence-based, patient-centred principles.
Will I have leadership responsibilities in this role?
Yes, the post holder will provide leadership for junior staff by offering supervision and appraisal when appropriate.
Can I participate in service development projects?
Yes, you will have the opportunity to participate in planning, development, and evaluation of services and hold responsibility for defined service improvement projects.
