Responsibilities

  • Ensure that proposals submitted meet NGUK requirements, including profitability and appropriate cash profiling.
  • Estimating labour, material, and travel costs as appropriate based on Customers’ request for proposal (RFP)
  • Scrutinizing Basis of Estimates for compliance to requirements of the RFP
  • Calculating production costs using labour and material pricing schedules
  • Analysing historical financial performance when available for current opportunities
  • Assisting the Pricing & Estimating Lead in establishing best practice for Pricing proposals in regard to templates that can be adapted for use across the business, with a consistent output of bid information to be presented to approvers within C101 process.
  • Preparing updates to Pricing & Estimating procedures
  • Supporting risk and opportunity assessment, quantification, and analysis during the proposal process.
  • Participating as a member of the contract negotiating team in concert with the relevant OU Business Manager.
  • Understanding the requirements for Supplier price cost analysis
