Requirements

  • You graduated university with an internship and up to 2 years of industry experience

Responsibilities

  • You’ll design the following as a part of you role:
  • Product Improvements - One of the key levers we have at our disposal to grow our user base in key markets is to improve our product to make it the easiest to use in each market. Key areas of product improvement include:
  • Localization - regularly checking our products for correct translations and areas that could benefit from better localization. Recommending areas that could be better improved to fit with cultural context. Our product should feel local in each of our markets.
  • Onboarding - Each country has specific onboarding requirements, you will be working closely with the onboarding team to ensure that the best UX is provided to users whilst being compliant with local requirements.
  • Payments - working with payments and your country pod to ensure we have relevant, preferred and usable payment rails in place.
  • New products - Ideating, experimenting and building out new products that meet users needs in that country.
  • Marketing - Working on Incentive Campaigns, such as referrals, new user incentives and campaign incentives to encourage users to engage and transact with Coinbase. You will also be helping to create CRM campaigns to effectively reach our existing customer base. We expect that you will be proficient at illustration or for you to work closely with our in house illustrators to get campaigns over the line.
  • Market research / Analysis - Helping the research team and country pod to conduct a holistic analysis of competitive dynamics in the market. Helping to run regular user testing and research sessions, documenting results and outlining opportunities presented. Having a deep understanding of Coinbase metrics within the region.
  • Legal / Regulatory - Assisting the team in building out a compliant yet delightful experience. Regulation can change quickly and the appropriate candidate needs to be capable of producing well crafted solutions in a short space of time.
  • What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
  • Work in a small team to iteratively improve the user experience
  • Take new features from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to production
  • Design web and mobile experiences that are simple and intuitive
  • Participate in regular design reviews where you’ll seek out specific feedback on your designs and incorporate relevant feedback
  • Execute on the product roadmap and help define product strategy
  • Daily collaboration with Engineering, User Research, and Product
