Requirements

  • Director level experience of leading the end-to-end delivery of complex digital transformation programmes, preferably involving data
  • Taking accountability for the operational and financial performance of the programme
  • Experience in leading the development and execution of change plans for complex programmes
  • Ownership of programme delivery to successfully deliver business outcomes and strategic benefits
  • Extensive Agile delivery experience
  • Ability to work independently, with little direction, and to tight and evolving deadlines
  • Credibility and gravitas when navigating Board level relationships
  • Management of complex stakeholder relationships, including C-suite
  • Experience of driving commercial relationships and value for money with third parties and vendor teams
  • Demonstrable experience in leading the development and execution of large complex, transformation programmes
  • Maturity of skills and breadth of experience in programme management principles, methodologies and tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Jira, Google Suite)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and conflict management skills
  • The ability to navigate relationships at senior management level
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to facilitate workshops, present to and engage teams
  • Experience in creating high quality deliverables with excellent attention to detail, experience with Google suite preferable
  • Experience of designing and implementing change management interventions
  • Experience in legal transformation and/or the media industry is highly beneficial
  • Experience as a Management Consultant preferable

Responsibilities

  • Act as senior delivery authority for the Data programme
  • Work with the CDO and senior business leaders to lead ITV’s data strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Build, lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team across all stages of the programme
  • Represent the programme alongside the Chief Data Officer at Boards, including escalating strategic risks and issues, and driving decisions around the speed and scope of the programme
  • Accountable for the operational delivery and financial performance of the programme
  • Responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of the individual workstreams, bringing rigour and a best practice approach throughout
  • Drive commercial relationships and value for money with third parties and vendor teams, in conjunction with Procurement
  • Lead the creation of an agile, adaptable, innovative and creative approach to developing solutions as a working practice / culture within the programme
  • Establish and oversee robust programme management governance and controls
  • Lead planning, budgeting and business case development for the programme, with Finance
  • Work with other Transformation Programme Directors and the TMO s to ensure that cross programme dependencies are managed and understood
  • Support other TMOs activities, for example, defining the Transformation Roadmap, operating model changes and alignment of transformation with ITV’s wider strategy
