Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the development, implementation, oversight, and management of capital projects processes, procedures, and administrative services to ensure the Project Controls functions are delivered with consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with the PMO team to achieve the client’s business objectives.
  • Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Project Controls best practices and deliverables.
  • Manage oversight and performance of portfolio project controls.
  • Lead projects in the implementation of project controls processes including forecasting, planning, monitoring, variance analysis, pricing, and reporting.
  • Manage, develop, track, and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Support cost and schedule contingency management, and work with key stakeholders to identify and manage project risks.
  • Manage change control process for Projects.
  • Support commitments of expenditure on the project and support payment of invoices.
  • Provide leadership to the Project Controls Team.
  • Prime interface with client and other shareholders.
  • Ensure the success of the Project Controls staff through mentoring and training.
  • There is the potential for you to travel to client offices or site locations, as required.
