Responsibilities

  • Assist the project management teams with coordination of project related activities.
  • Assist the project manager in developing project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Pro-actively assist with schedule development and milestone tracking.
  • Assist with the management of vendor commitments and relationships.
  • Effectively develop and communicate project status updates in a clear and concise manner.
  • Manage communication flow for contract submittals, project reporting, invoicing, vendor submittals and other documentation between customer, project team, and suppliers.
  • Liaise with both internal and external project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Support subcontractor operations daily through coordination and scheduling. Take ownership of the subcontractor schedule including job flow and customer experience.
  • Identify the critical path required to achieve a given task and manage until completion.
  • Problem solve unique situations as they arise.
  • Actively participate in developing and maintaining online business management tools used for the development and execution of all projects.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and assist with creating and revising the process to ensure better efficiency and client experience.
  • Support procurement manager in the development of requests for proposals and contract exhibits.
  • Monitor the status of the project to ensure documentation is submitted according to schedule.
  • Review and verify project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Submit project proposals and documentation to management for approval and transmit approved documents to the customer.
  • Use and promote excellent customer service soft skills.
  • Understand and promote Canadian Solar products and offering.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Project Director.
  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.
