Responsibilities

  • - Develop and maintain a good working contact with UK media (fashion/trend titles/design/lifestyle press for product placement, feature stories, on-line and broadcast media.)
  • - Generate increased editorials and raise brand awareness with DMR benchmarking. Work on product placements, profile features, business features etc. to drive the key brand and seasonal messages forward each season.
  • - Manage and oversee UK Public Relations Coordinator with all press office related admin work such as press sample inventories and coordination, editorial, reports, corporate press books, archiving of seasonal samples, sample sales etc.
  • - Work with Senior Communications Director on all PR sample and gifting orders.
  • - Oversee all press reporting for the region and ensure that editorials are properly accounted for
  • - Coordinate local market press days /launches in the UK, and assist in coordination of global press days and management of global events in the UK
  • - Maintain contacts with outside agencies, industry associations and media representatives to keep informed of current developments in the fashion, press and communications field
  • - Investigate new channels for promoting and communicating the Company’s products
  • - Manage department budget.
  • - Liaise with other departments to insure internal needs are considered.
  • - Communicate all results internally.
  • - Work with EMEA retail to plan events for UK region, provide PR support, event ideas and execution support.
  • - Attend industry events representing the brand.
