  • 8-10+ years of experience in the public safety industry including 5+ years of operational experience in a 911 dispatch and a leadership role at a PSAP
  • In-depth familiarity with 911 and field responder operational workflows, including call-taking, dispatch, radio communications, and other PSAP technology as well as emerging Public Safety Communications Technology (AI, Text-to-911, NG911 / NENA i3 standard)
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to lead group discussion and build consensus with people across all levels including executives
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively, overseeing multiple concurrent projects and collaborating on initiatives in a cross-functional team

Responsibilities

  • Act as an SME and public safety advisor to prospective enterprise and B2B customers, as well as internal teams on optimal solutions for emergency response challenges from discovery through contract negotiation and implementation
  • Communicate with internal sales leaders and prospects to understand the prospect’s goals and needs from a business and technical standpoint; develop an in-depth understanding of RapidSOS products and services to effectively communicate their value and ability to meet the prospect’s needs
  • Provide input on efficient workflow and optimal design as it relates to public safety along with how the solution should be implemented across ECCs including go to market strategies and ECC training efforts
  • Stay up to date with trends, recent news, regulations, standards and developments in the public safety landscape to identify growth opportunities and inform strategy
  • Identify potential growth and upsell opportunities within existing partnerships by leveraging industry knowledge
  • Contribute to cross-functional efforts with other internal RapidSOS teams including Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Public Safety
