Responsibilities

  • Performs tests in the laboratory and on the production floor on key parameters associated with the quality assurance of finished products.
  • Entering data in plant computer system/excel for daily quality testing results.
  • Escalates production quality assurance issues to the quality team and plant management on a timely basis.
  • Monitors the quality of finished products in real time on the production floor.
  • Identifies quality issues in real time on the production floor and help production team to troubleshoot and drives resolution of production quality deficiencies and problems.
  • Monitors quality impact of new production processes, methods, or equipment.
  • Ensures that the lab equipment is calibrated and in good condition. Communicates material and spare requirements to Quality Supervisor in advance.
  • Works with shipping and production team to ensure NCR products are sorted segregated, isolated and downgraded as per disposition from the quality team.
  • Support production team with other assigned duties as needed when production lines are down as assigned by the production supervisor (cleaning, PMs, re-wraps, checking quarantine product, etc)
