Responsibilities

  • Ensure Quality Standards: Monitor and ensure that third-party repair partners follow Swapfiets’ repair work instructions for all bikes
  • Training & Assessment: Train the foreman and repair teams and assess their performance on a regular basis
  • Continuous Monitoring: Continuously track quality performance looking for improvement opportunities in both quality and efficiency
  • Quality Control & Audits: Perform detailed quality audits on repaired bikes to ensure repairs meet Swapfiets’ standards
  • Improvement Plans: Develop and present improvement plans during weekly quality meetings to enhance repair quality and processes
  • Hands-on Repairs: Personally repair bikes that fail to pass the quality audits, ensuring that no compromised bike leaves the repair location
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to increase the efficiency and quality of repairs, both at 3PR locations and within Swapfiets’ internal warehouses
