Responsibilities

  • Ensure product is inspected on a timely basis to ensure production flows continuously.
  • Record inspection results, booking out sheets and review first-off / last-off production.
  • Meet required production and quality goals as stated in KPI’s.
  • Ensure work areas are 100% free of contaminants.
  • Communicate with Group Leaders & Quality Engineers inspection results status.
  • Provide guidance and support to production team members.
  • Conduct product audits on complete / WIP products to verify product conformity and integrity.
  • Identify issues affecting quality and take corrective action. Lead Stop, Call, Wait when needed.
  • Promote and coach the production team in No Faults Forwards.
  • Assist in site lean / process / continuous improvement initiatives and activities.
  • Required to change jobs within Inspection team to meet tight deadlines at short notice.
  • Other related duties as assigned by Value Stream Manager.
  • Support development and improvement of Quality System processes and standards.
  • Support compliance of all company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
