Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of and report to the Quality supervisor
  • Coordinate and assist in training of all areas of QC employees, be able to conduct metal detector validation, sensory training and execution of daily sensory panel, gauge R&R/ MSA execution
  • Review, verify and Sign daily QC Documentation, Review of data integrity with QC Team
  • Preparation and shipment of samples and required documentation
  • Organize samples for product cuttings, target and control purposes
  • Completion of records and distribution to appropriate personnel
  • Accurately relate/maintain all required documentation
  • Completion of weekly and monthly reporting, able to participate and execute recall process
  • Engage in customer audits and regulatory audits to demonstrate quality compliances to system
  • Daily review of SAP data
  • Retrieving of SAP/SPC data for reports and complaint responses
  • Provide SAP support for the department and Calibration of equipment as required
  • Computer work (includes SPC, SAP, Excel, Word, Coding, WMS, KRONOS, COUPA Email, Crystal report management) to compile reports and complaint response data
  • Complete all required QC and HACCP procedures and check sheets, update documents as needed
  • Perform duties in a safe, accurate and efficient manner
  • Promote safe work habits and conduct daily safety meeting
  • Perform housekeeping in work area to maintain established standards
  • Provide help in other areas of Quality Control, including filling in for QC Graders / QC tech/ Micro Tech when required
  • Actively participate in safety, food safety culture and promote teams engagement
  • All other duties as assigned
