Responsibilities

  • Assist, with limited supervision, the local portfolio manager who is responsible for the performance and the operating management of the managed assets.
  • Assist and be an advocate in all ESG related priorities needed for Nuveen and her funds served.
  • Prepare and complete annual business plans and asset management initiatives.
  • Implement the agreed asset management initiatives, capex programme, and renewal/lease up targets.
  • Able and creative to assist in making (value add) business cases profitable.
  • Coordinates and supports research in all areas of real estate, including background research, corporate relationships and the valuation and recommendation of the property.
  • Instruct, coordinate and supervise external professional teams (incl. property managers, asset managers, leasing agents, communication agencies, lawyers, project managers, etc.).
  • Prepare periodic reporting to investors, analysis and explanation of variances.
  • Assist in data collection of quarterly/annual property valuation process and review them.
  • Collect and ensure the reliability of data that relate to properties under management.
  • Assist the local portfolio manager in the underwriting of new investment opportunities.
  • Assist in any Due Diligence process.
  • Provide quarterly investment reporting.
  • Present to Board and Investment committee.
  • Keep abreast of investment opportunities and successfully communicate information to the investment team.
  • Contributes to a pipeline of investment ideas that are in market or coming to market.
