What are the primary responsibilities of the Receptionist?
The primary responsibilities include receiving and directing phone calls, greeting and directing clients and visitors, maintaining the reception area, assisting with administrative tasks, scheduling meetings, and coordinating food service for meetings.
What skills are required for this position?
Required skills include effective oral and written communication, great interpersonal skills, strong customer service orientation, multi-tasking ability, organization, and proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
What prior experience is preferred for the Receptionist role?
Previous switchboard/reception and clerical office experience is preferred, and experience in an architecture or professional services firm is a plus.
Is there an educational requirement for the Receptionist position?
Yes, a high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
