Responsibilities

  • Fugro GB are looking to recruit a Receptionist/Office Assistant to work full time at our Heriot Watt office just outside Edinburgh. Reporting to the General Manager, you will play an important role welcoming visitors, responding to telephone enquiries and undertaking administrative duties. No two days will be the same with a variety of tasks and responsibilities to undertake including, but not limited to, greeting, and coordinating visitors, operating a switchboard, receiving and re-directing enquiries, accepting deliveries, distributing mail, booking meeting rooms, organising contractors, managing travel arrangements, booking hire cars, ordering of supplies and equipment and raising purchase orders. You will also be involved in the Health and Safety across the site, ensuring strict protocols are followed, undertaking monthly office inspections and office tours. The post holder will also be expected to become the designated fire marshal.
