Responsibilities

  • Serve as the afternoon (12:30-5:00) Receptionist for the Athletes in Action HQ building.
  • Utilize a computer to enter data and prepare reports
  • Lock front doors at the end of each business day.
  • Assist callers or visitors with general information about the ministry, directions to the property, fax number, websites and other related information
  • Answer phone and route calls/inquiries to appropriate staff, take messages as needed
  • Maintain security by following assigned procedures
  • Receive and notify staff of the delivery of packages from express mail services (FedEx, UPS, Amazon, etc.)
  • Communicate between the supervisor and staff, the public or other ministry officials ensuring the AIA mission is expressed
  • Assist with other related administrative/clerical duties such as copying, scanning, and faxing
  • Help prepare for special events, providing general clerical duties such as putting together packets.
