Responsibilities

  • Represent the CGF in North America
  • Lead and manage the deployment of coalition strategies in North America
  • Support local groups, and ensure links to the global Coalition agenda and working groups
  • Lead the attraction, retention and engagement of members regionally
  • Recruit, onboard train and manage high-performing PMO's (2 FTE's) and other staff as may be required to deliver the strategy
  • Lead and manage relevant regional external stakeholder relationships (Governments, regional NGOs, UN bodies, national industry associations etc.)
  • Tailor global communications to the regional context and language.
  • Lead and manage local events (workshops) and market North American participation at international events
  • Lead and manage coalition deployment in the region and ensure that the local groups' strategy is consistent with the global strategy considering the local needs and challenges.
  • Ensure an appropriate governance and representative participation in the local groups
  • Co-create, set and deliver the Local group's steering committee agenda and meetings
  • Lead and manage local initiatives in the region
  • Prepare annual business plan and technical roadmap together with the initiatives Board liaisons, the initiatives global and local groups' steering committee members
  • Provide strategic outreach to the local governments and key industry players in the region with the support of the respective global and local experts.
