Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 10-12 linguists, capacity planning, people, and team development.
  • Capacity planning: analyze demand and hiring needs in light of business growth and forecast headcount.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to select, test, and shortlist the right profiles.
  • Create a comprehensive onboarding plan for new hires to enable them to smoothly integrate into the team and ramp up.
  • Work with global and local L&D teams to identify the team's learning needs and finding ways to best address them.
  • Coach team members to help them grow through the career path ahead of them or within their roles. Enable direct reports by delegating and entrusting them with initiatives and responsibilities that aim at creating function-wide impact.
  • Manage the entire PDG process for the team and ensure regular feedback is provided driving your team's performance throughout the year supporting goal setting.
  • Set a strategic direction and set a plan to implement it for the team in line with functional and business goals.
  • Own functional development initiatives within your team and collaborate with managers from other regions and cross-functional stakeholders to elevate the service level and create efficiencies.
  • Look for creative ways to achieve time and cost optimization through integration and process redesign.
  • Develop and maintain SLAs and KPIs for the team adapting to changing business factors and industry trends.
  • Own service delivery and support the coordination team by providing structural on-the-job training and advice on how to manage complex projects that require extensive negotiation and alignment with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support on translation and proofreading during peak times when possible and needed.
  • Onboard new vendors and collaborate with the Procurement, Information security, Supplier Risk teams to formalize the relationship and ensure all contractual and security risks are covered and maintained throughout the contractual period.
  • Negotiate vendor prices and identify opportunities to create cost efficiencies and achieve savings.
  • Audit and administer vendors invoices, track, approve and align with the relevant AP team to ensure the right processes are in place for each vendor.
